A Creative Shoot Unveiled
The Vision
Amid the frost-covered landscape of Meaford, Ontario, a winter editorial came to life inside The Glasshouse. It offers a fresh take on cold-weather weddings. Titled Secrets of The Glasshouse, the shoot shows how thoughtful design can turn even the coldest setting into something warm and inviting.
The Team
At its core, the concept focuses on contrast. The venue’s stone and concrete structure is softened with flowing chiffon, candlelight, and natural textures. Led by planner Amanda Jerome of Amanda Jerome Events, the design feels refined yet welcoming. It proves winter weddings can feel elevated without losing comfort.
A strong creative team brought the vision together. Floral designer Jessica Hobson introduced bold, textured arrangements. These designs added depth and movement. Photographer Jaclyn Roth focused on real moments and emotion. The result feels natural rather than staged.
The Backdrop
Temperatures dropped below -20°C outside. Inside, the space felt warm and bright. Greenery added life against the winter backdrop. Candlelight reflected softly off the glass walls. A wood-burning fireplace became a natural focal point. It drew people in and added to the cozy feel. At the center, Dan and Steve brought real connection and joy. Their presence made the scene feel genuine.
